Research at Riara University
Research is an integral part of any institution of higher learning. Riara University, whose vision is “to be a leading university in the world and a Centre of Excellence in Scholarship, Research and Training,” engages in research to generate knowledge and question practice.
The University research policy seeks to develop and encourage faculty and students to conduct research that responds to the needs of 21st-century society.
The research committee welcomes new ideas that will help research grow at Riara University. The full Riara University Research Policy is available from the office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic Affairs).
Activities of the research section
- Encouraging faculty and students to conduct research that is relevant to the wider society.
- Seeking collaboration with other academic institutions on joint research.
- Seeking research funding from internal and external sources.
- Overseeing the publication of journals by the various schools.
- Holding regular faculty seminars where faculty and students discuss topical issues and ongoing research projects.
